STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
- All our fixed Luminaires (Chandeliers, Pendants etc..) must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with AS/NZ3000.
- We will replace any fitting that fails within the period of the product warranty. All warranties are repair or replacement warranties. After inspection of the faulty product, we will provide you with the exact same model, or an upgraded/similar level model if the product is no longer available.
- Original purchase receipt and compliance certificate from an electrician will be required at the time of faulty returns.
- This applies for in store purchases as well as online purchases.
- Oz Lights Direct is NOT responsible for the removal and/or re-installation cost of the product/s.
- Oz Lights Direct are responsible ONLY for supplying light fittings in accordance with Australian Standards.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS:
- For in store, change of minds MUST be advised within 7 DAYS from receiving the item/s.
- For online orders, change of minds MUST be advised within 30 DAYS from receiving the item/s. Fault of the items MUST be reported within 7 Days from receiving the goods.
- For in store, Oz Lights Direct provide In Store Credit for all change of mind returns. Once the item has been purchased/partially purchased the lights become the property of the purchaser.
- For online, the customer must provide shipping of the product back to the supplier. The products must arrive in a re-sellable condition. Damaged products will not be credited back.
- If the item/s has/have been installed it will not be accepted back.
Please check that you are happy with the quality and finish of products BEFORE PURCHSE AND INSTALLATION.
- The client explicitly waives its own standard terms and conditions, even if these were drawn up after these standard terms and conditions of sale. In order to be valid, any derogation must be expressly agreed to in advance in writing.
- Our invoices are payable prior to dispatch, unless another payment timeframe is indicated on either the invoice or the order. Oz Lights Direct will be authorized to suspend any provision of services without prior warning in the event of late payment.
- If a payment is still outstanding more than Thirty (30) days after the due payment date, Oz Lights Direct reserves the right to call on the services of a debt recovery company. All legal expenses will be payable by the client.
- Oz Lights Direct undertakes to do its best to supply performant services in due time in accordance with the agreed timeframes. However, none of its obligations can be considered as being an obligation to achieve results. Oz Lights Direct cannot under any circumstances, be required by the client to appear as a third party in the context of any claim for damages filed against the client by an end consumer.
- In order for it to be admissible, Oz Lights Direct must be notified of any claim by means of a letter sent by recorded delivery to its registered office within 7 days of the delivery of the goods or the provision of the services.
- All our contractual relations will be governed exclusively by Australia law.
